Medical Matters Presented by Physicians and Defense Counsel from across the state
This new program is designed to provide medical professionals with the tools they need to practice in today’s litigious society. The program will center on the presentation and discussion of four closed medical malpractice claims and the analysis of how to prevent similar occurrences from happening in your practice. Risk management suggestions and strategies will be introduced throughout the case discussions to provide providers with ways to limit their liability risk and positively impact patient care. Participation in the case discussion is an essential element of the program. |
Upon completion of this seminar, participants will be better able to:
Identify and discuss clinical and risk management issues present in the closed case scenarios
Describe diagnostic and treatment options related to the clinical areas presented
- Implement risk management strategies that enhance the Patient-Physician relationship, prevent patient injury and reduce liability risk

Due to commitments for facilities, catering and course materials, seminar fees are non-refundable in the event that you are unable to attend. If a seminar is cancelled your payment will be refunded. Registration is permitted the day of the seminar on a space-available basis.

Registration and a light dinner begin at 5:30 p.m., with the seminar starting promptly at 6:00 p.m. The seminar ends at 8:00 p.m. If you have special dietary needs (Vegetarian, Kosher, etc.), please note this information on your mail-in registration form.
