From Richmond:
Take I-64 heading East toward Norfolk or Virginia Beach. Around Newport News, take exit for I-664 bypass. Stay on I-664 over the Monitor-Merrimac tunnel and continue for about 30 miles, following sign for Chesapeake/I-64. After going over high rise bridge over the Southern Branch or the Elizabeth River, take Exit 290 for Battlefield Boulevard, South (follow the blue hospital signs). Chesapeake General is approximately 2 - 3 miles down Battlefield Boulevard on the right. Turn right at the Knell’s Ridge or the Medical Parkway intersections.
From Norfolk:
Take I-464 toward Chesapeake. Take I-64 exit toward Virginia Beach. Exit 290 for Battlefield Boulevard, South (follow the blue hospital signs). Chesapeake General is approximately 2 - 3 miles down Battlefield Boulevard on the right. Turn right at the Knell’s Ridge or the Medical Parkway intersections.
From Virginia Beach:
Take I-64 West toward Chesapeake-Suffolk. Exit 290B, Battlefield Blvd., South (follow the blue hosptial signs). Chesapeake General Hospital is approximately 2 - 3 miles down Battlefield Boulevard on the right. Turn right at the Knell's Ridge or Medical Parkway intersections.
From the Outer Banks:
Take Hwy 158 North to exit the Outer Banks over the Wright Memorial Bridge. Continue on #158 for approximately 28 miles. Continue onto Hwy 168 heading northwest into Virginia for 27.7 miles. Take either Bus. Rt 168 or the Great Bridge ByPass, which exits back to Battlefield Blvd.,to CGH. Our Battlefield Blvd location is on Rt. 168.
